Pont Alexandre & Mini Palais

Since Amanda and I had so much fun going out to dinner the other night, we decided to make another reservation at an incredible restaurant right at the foot of the Pont Alexandre bridge. Amanda has been dying to take pictures here with the Eiffel Tower in the background. It's considered to be the most ornate and beautiful bridge in all of Paris! The restaurant we ended up going to was super modern and chic. The ceiling is lit blue all throughout the restaurant and there are different sculptures lit with textured spotlights on each wall. I was thrilled when we got there and they were playing a John Legend cd. After that played through, Amanda and I were surprised to be listening to Macklemore and a bunch of other American pop music. We had looked over the menu before coming and I had already decided I was going to get the Tandoori salmon and Amanda was getting the almond encrusted whiting. Both of our plates were PERFECT. We decided to get the French toast for dessert, and were surprised when it came out as French toast bread pudding! It was also really good. I would give this restaurant a 4.5 out of 5. Great food and the PERFECT atmosphere! http://www.minipalais.com/en/index.html
